iOttie RapidVolt: Upgrade your 12V Outlet

If you are rocking an older vehicle that does not have USB ports for charging your electronic lifestyle, or you have the misfortune to discover that only a select few vehicles with built-in USB slots offer fast charging, then you are in the market for a 12V USB charger.

These cigarette lighter outlet chargers are a dime a dozen everywhere, from gas stations to amazon, but there is a clear difference in their abilities. Most phones and tablets have fast-charging capabilities and can take advantage of higher amp power sources to charge quickly. Generally, these max out at 5 amps, and unfortunately most car chargers max out at around 1-1.5 amps.

A few years ago, iOttie developed the RapidVolt charger, which we have been using nearly nonstop for two years now. It is the highest output charger on the market, offering dual five amp USB ports, and can fast charge an iPhone X from zero to hero in about 30 minutes. It comes in two colors, black and white, and retails for $19.99.

We have nothing but good things to say about this little guy; it has provided faithful service for a long time, and more to come.
