New Legend Specializes in Modernizing Classic 4×4 SUVs

New Legend is where the craftsmanship and design of the past, meet the technology and engineering of the present. Specializing in taking ratty old and tired SUVs from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, New Legend goes through them with a fine-tooth comb, replacing the worst parts of those decades with the best parts of today.

While New Legend does do full nut-and-bolt restorations, their real passion is putting this new blood into old trucks. They have made a name for themselves by taking International Harvester Scout trucks and restoring the body, while sliding a brand-new modified Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited rolling chassis underneath with an LSx GM power plant to make it rip.

This marriage of old and new ensures all the character of the old truck stays—with none of the headaches. Performance, reliability and comfort is brought to modern day levels, and that tactile touch, and we could not be happier. Seeing these trucks first hand, you really begin to understand how easily hundreds of man hours get poured into the restorations of these trucks, and what levels of perfection come of them as a result.

Do yourself a favor and follow along with their Instagram page (@newlegend4x4) or visit their website.
