Get Organized on the Go: The Quick DECKED YT8 System

Quick and Easy Way to Get Organized

I travel a ton with my truck, and one of the things I’m always looking for is a better way to organize, store, and protect gear from the elements. The new YT8 system from DECKED is the perfect answer to all of those needs. The company made the buildout to install super quickly and easily by yourself in the driveway of your shop. Not only is it super functional, but it looks great as well.

Open your box and find the instructions.
Line out all the tools you will need for the installation.
Take everything out of the box and lay it out so you have an idea of how it will be going into the bed of the truck.
Install the first rollers.
Add the side rails and loosely install the bolts. You will tighten them later.
Place the top of the DECKED system in place and tighten the bolts that are closest to the header panel of the bed.
Install the bolts in the top of the DECKED system where the arrows are.
Slide the side support bars in place. Push them in until they stop.
Install lower cross bar and tighten to keep system in place.
Lift DECKED system into the bed of your truck.
Install tie downs and center the system in the bed of the truck and then tighten them.
Install top side panels and bolt them down.
Now start building the drawer by installing the front panel first.
Install the side and rear panels on the drawer.
Lift the drawer into place and slide in. Make sure everything closes well and no adjustments need to be made.
Putting rubber mat in drawer.
Install top cap on the end of the drawer system.
Place storage boxes in draw and get organized.
