GoRhino Xtreme Rack System: Efficient Gear Storage

GoRhino Xtreme Rack System

We know one of the major advantages of full-size rigs is the amount of gear you’re able to pack in – and on – them. But keeping all of that gear and all of your accessories organized can be a full-size challenge. That’s where the GoRhino Xtreme Rack System (XRS) comes in. Featuring GoRhino’s proprietary 4-CORE cross bar system, the Xtreme Rack is the first building block to not only the whole XRS system but also one of the most efficient gear storage solutions on the market.

The Xtreme Rack System is strong and durable enough to hold a rooftop tent along with all the gear.

The Xtreme Rack is truck bed storage designed for Jeep JT as well as most mid-size and full-size trucks, including the Toyota Tundra and Tacoma, Ford F-150, Ram 1500, GMC Sierra, and more. With a wide variety of attachable accessories and mounting plates, the XRS is adaptable to your needs and always ready for adventure.

Fully equipped with a 300 lb. dynamic/600 lb. static weight rating, the XRS will have no problem carrying your rooftop tent and all your gear, too. Its steel and aluminum construction keeps the whole system fairly lightweight without sacrificing durability. Plus, the system is easy to install and doesn’t require any drilling.

There’s plenty of GoRhino 4-CORE accessories to go along with the Xtreme Rack.

There’s no shortage of GoRhino 4-CORE accessories to go along with the Xtreme Rack. Your accessory mounting options are essentially unlimited, thanks to the rack’s extruded track system that works with any 1/4×20 hex bolt.

Let’s take a look at what you can pack on your XRS using GoRhino mounting accessories.

Add counter space to your camp kitchen

Whether you just need a little more clean space for your single burner or are prepping a spread for a crowd, there’s an XRS accessory for that. For a small table that folds out from the side of the rack and serves as storage when closed, try the XRS Accessory Gear Table. Engineered to stay flat and stable, this small metal table is lightweight and easy to keep sanitary. If you need a bit more space, look into the 4-CORE Mount Kit for Folding Table, which allows you to safely slot most 6-foot folding tables onto the roof of the rack.

The included gear plate combines the functionality of a Molle panel, with even more rugged construction and with more storage options.

Mount your rooftop tent

Rooftop tents are all the rage these days, but we know they can be a hassle to mount. A set of 4 Rhino Quick Release Rooftop Tent Backets makes it easy to secure your rooftop tent to the Xtreme Rack. The brackets work with the 4-CORE slotted cross bars that come standard on the XRS to clip in your tent without any other straps or tie downs, simplifying the whole process. Keep your truck’s roof for storage and make your camp on the XRS.

The  Xtreme Rack System can be used with most full-size and mid-size trucks.

Get some shade with an awning

Awnings can be a pain to secure and deploy, but this simple Awning Bracket Kit will keep your awning easily accessible. Some overlanders might argue that an awning isn’t worth the trouble. Whether it’s protection from the sun or rain, we think they’re well worth it. These awning brackets, carefully designed to curve around an RTT and the rack’s endcaps, include slots for standard awnings as well as larger slots for “Batwing” options and even options for custom awning configurations.

Secure recovery boards and other tools

Already included with every Xtreme Rack is one Rhino Accessory Gear Plate. Of course, you can always add more if you need. This plate combines the functionality of a Molle panel, with even more rugged construction and with more storage options. The flat panel, which mounts to the side walls of the rack, is your solution for mounting anything you can think of. From shovels to recovery boards to jerry cans, this panel can hold it all. It’s completely customizable, ready to secure your gear however you need it. The only limit is your imagination.

Mount a hi-lift jack

Are you a serious, risk-taking off-roader who needs a hi-left jack handy at all times? Find yourself stuck in tough spots and needing a lift quick? A rooftop hi-lift jack mount using GoRhino’s 4-CORE system provides a safe and secure mounting point that ensures your jack is on hand when you need it. Plus, sound dampening keeps the mount and jack relatively free of rattling for quieter on-road driving.

An accessory option to consider is the removable table that slides in and secures on the underside of the rack.

Don’t worry; there’s more where those came from. We said unlimited storage options, didn’t we? Other XRS Xtreme Rack Accessories include Rhino Tie Downs, XRS to SRM Connectors, the XRS Reel Handle Kit, XRS CAB Overhang Mount Kit, and 4-CORE Floor Plate Insert Kit.
