Wiley Davis of Hondo Garage is something of a savant. He looks at something and a wave of study comes over his face; you see the gears turning in his head. The Perfect Squeeze Phone and Tablet mount is the product of such an assessment. Milled from a solid block of 6000 series aluminum, the Hondo mount uses a tooth system to grip a piece of all thread, allowing full customization from phones to GPS units to whatever you can stick in the jaws of the mount. A milled wheel that rides the all thread, and is secured by a ball detent, allows fine tuning adjustability for the clamp. On the right side of the mount is a bypass lever that allows the quick detachment, or quick attachment, of the item occupying its grasp.

This is a super solid mount. Not using the power of springs like other mounts, such as RAM’s X-Grip, means that it has a significant mechanical advantage over securing whatever is in its grasp. No need for additional troublesome rubber webbing, or fumbling to get bare handed—the Hondo Garage Perfect Squeeze is easy to use, and all the controls are large enough and tactile to be used while wearing leather motorcycle gloves if you are out riding, or your run-of-the-mill leather or winter gloves if you fall in the other categories.

The Perfect Squeeze mount comes in two sizes, regular and tablet, and uses the same function for both. Attaching them to whatever vehicle you choose comes way via a RAM ball and link system, for full customization of your mounting surface.

If you would like to purchase the Hondo Garage mount’s for your vehicle, they start at $79 and can be found here.
