TRD

Happy 40th Birthday, TRD!

For 20 years, Toyota Sports Corner (TOSCO), the motorsports division of Toyota, was winning races globally with many trophies held and several records set by its driver. In 1979, it was time to give the winning global brand an overhaul to capitalize on the success; TOSCO changed to Toyota Racing Development — and TRD was born.

TRD

Not only did TRD support racing across the world, but they were also put in charge of improving performance on production vehicles. They developed a line of performance-oriented accessories for vehicles that interested Toyota owners and racing enthusiasts across the globe. For the next 40 years, TRD would continue to secure their place in the racing world, build impressive performance parts and even began to race in NASCAR. The accolades kept coming and the Toyota racing development team keep pushing themselves to do more and better. What will the next 40 years bring? Well, for now it’s a celebration.

You only turn 40 once, and to mark the occasion Toyota themselves are putting together a pretty big birthday party. How big? How does 40% off of select accessories like TRD skidplates, TRD matte black alloy wheels, TRD lowering springs, TRD air filters and TRD oil filters sound to you?

Yeah, we thought so. The online-only sale lasts for 24 hours this Thursday, April 4, 2019, from Toyota and participating online dealers. Visit the Toyota Parts Center Online to find select TRD accessories discounted, look for a green discount flag to score great deals.
