Tread Paper Delay Notification

Dear valued partners,

 

We, at Tread, strive to maintain the excellence set forth by our founders. We’ve been fortunate to navigate through changing times in print publishing to provide a more luxurious and top-notch reading experience for our audience to bring the adventure straight to them.

Unfortunately, like many, we also face challenges with supply chain. For us, it relates to paper. Three times this year we have had problems getting our usual paper stock, with the most recent affecting Tread July/August 2022.

In true nature of our adventurous spirits, we improvise and adapt when faced with challenges and this is no different. Matters outside of our control delayed paper delivery and, in turn, we need to postpone the on-sale date for the issue. Quality paper is important to our package and obtaining the better stock took priority.

In good news, digital versions are available online as of 6/14/22 at engagedmedia.store. Subscriber copies should be mailed out the second week of July, with newsstand versions to follow on sale 7/26/22. The time on newsstand remains with an off-sale date two months later.

Also, we have opted to adjust the next two issue’s on-sale dates to keep the appeal of this issue on newsstand longer. Tread September/October 2022 will go on sale end of August and Tread November/December will go on sale late October.

When it comes to print publications, paper quality is always a hot topic. It sets the bar for standards within an enthusiast audience, like that to which Tread belongs. In order to maintain the quality paper Tread readers appreciate and have grown accustomed to, this was the best solution. We don’t anticipate further delays this year, and apologize for this one.

At the forefront of the Tread brand is quality and an upscale reading experience, whether that is conveyed through top-quality photography, writing, package or content strategy. We will remain dedicated to that cause.
