Four-Seat Fury: Modified Polaris RZR 2014 XP 1000

Designed to incorporate over 145 factory-made accessories, the Polaris RZR was meant to be modified. The assortment of offered additions, however, are mostly limited to light fixtures and audio upgrades. But why keep it at that? When you’re tearing through mud or ripping across the dunes, you know when other modifications are needed for your side by side. Such was the case with this RZR.

When things got real crazy, it was time to think about added protection, although, most side-by-side builders tend to make thin tube full doors, which sadly offer nothing in terms of protection. Their only other option is to build the cage with a solid bar that blocks off the door, making for difficult access. The owner of this side by side, Jeremy Sakioka, specifically wanted small door bars that would allow his wife and passengers easy access yet still have the safety of a door X bar for roll overs and crashes. Adding even more protection is the fact that the swing out door uses a double shear clevis with a custom locking door pin. Basically, the door is more than something that keeps the mud and dirt out; it’s a mod that welcomes a more wicked ride.
